The externalization of the environmental destruction to the general population is not a just situation to be accepting at this important juncture. No one can even be considered near the point of minimizing their carbon footprint until they have given up on animal protein. We must all spread this message to everyone we know. There is however one small portion which does not harmonize nicely with the passage :

Suggest to change it to :

‘Famous vegetarians of the past and present such as Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Carl Lewis and Jane Goodall have shown that the vegetarian diet is capable of supporting the health and intellectual aspect of man.’

Thought that it sounds better and blend in nicely with the whole letter.

Be vegetarian, do not support cruelty and killing of animals by eating meat, do not smoke and ruin your health and that of those around you! It's simple. You get what put in. So let's act now. Adopt a healthy, green and clean, sustainable lifestyle and protect and care for all those who are weaker than us (the aged, the young and our animal friends, our beautiful trees).
